Manufacturing Readiness Grant

Note: Your privacy is very important to us. To better serve you, the form information you enter is recorded in real time.

Smart Manufacturing is the intersection of manufacturing and digital transformation (e.g. additive manufacturing, industrial Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure, cybersecurity, high speed communications infrastructure, energy resilience equipment). Furthermore, the recent COVID-19 pandemic is showing how vulnerable our supply chains and manufacturing presence have become in the U.S. These two factors are combining to create a unique threat and opportunity for the entire manufacturing sector.

Indiana is well positioned to succeed given our manufacturing concentration, corporate presence, and steadily growing innovation and entrepreneurial efforts.  Indiana has every reason to take a bold approach, as thousands of Hoosier jobs are at risk in a dynamically changing marketplace.

Providing matching grants to companies interested in deploying Smart Manufacturing technology and healthcare manufacturing equipment will stimulate the existing manufacturing community and open new opportunities as onshore manufacturing policy priorities shift.

Specifically, these matching grants will function to expand critical knowledge and lower the barriers to Smart Manufacturing technology adoption and healthcare manufacturing equipment procurement at a time when Indiana manufacturers are faced with unprecedented challenges and needs to deploy smart technologies in reopening the workplace in the wake of COVID-19. This will help both to reassure and to reprioritize manufacturing dominance on a national and local Indiana level.

Thank you for your interest in working with the IEDC, Next Level Manufacturing Institute and Conexus Indiana to promote innovative initiatives and economic development. Please complete the form in its entirety; incomplete submissions will not be considered.
